A 26-year-old man has been charged over the alleged glassing of another man at licensed premises in Coonabarabran last night.

About 10.15pm (Monday 26 January 2015) two men, who are known to each other, got into an argument at the premises on Johns Street.

Police will allege one man struck the other man in the face whilst holding a full schooner glass.

The glass has broken causing the eyebrow of a 49-year-old to split open and bleed.

A third man has tried to break-up the fight but in doing so sustained a cut to his abdomen from broken glass on the floor.

Staff then removed the three men from the premises who allegedly continued arguing outside.

All three men were treated by NSW Ambulance Paramedics, with the third man taken to hospital for eight stiches to his abdomen.

The 26-year-old was arrested at the scene by police and was taken to Coonabarabran Police Station and charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

The man was granted conditional bail to appear before Coonabarabran Local Court on Friday 20 February 2015.
