Our clock tower was made from local sandstone and dedicated to the men of the town and district who fought in World War I. The tower was erected in 1926 and is constructed in the Art Deco architectural style of strong geometric shapes and form.

There are 255 names on brass plaques on the North,South and West facing sides; 41 are marked with an asterisk that denotes dying during the war.
